We are excited to provide you new opportunities to connect with Orientation Leaders, learn more about UGA, and discover what it means to be a Bulldog. Throughout the rest of the fall, New Student Orientation will be hosting multiple engagement methods virtually to help in your transition to the campus community.
Our Dawg Talk webinars provide the opportunity for incoming student to connect with various campus programs and departments. Through differing webinars over the fall, students and families will:
- Have a better understanding of the UGA resources and programs that are available to new students
- Be able to learn about resources from campus experts and ask topic specific questions to UGA offices and departments
- Seek help with various UGA questions including class registration, auxiliary services, and finding connection on campus.
More information about summer 2021 Dawg Talks will be provided soon. Make sure to check back here for opportunities to connect with campus resources and academic college leading up to orientation.
New Student Orientation recognizes that the college transition does not only affect students, but affects their parents, family, and support systems. NSO invites parents and families to attend our Dawg Talk webinars aimed at preparing them to support their new students with guidance from various campus partners and our Orientation Leaders.
We also encourage parents and family members to sign up for our Parent and Family Portal. To sign up for the portal, parents and families can visit the website here to learn more and register today.
