The UGA Orientation Resource Fair is designed to provide incoming UGA students and families with an introduction to campus resources and services that will assist in a successful transition to UGA. Exhibitors throughout the University of Georgia community are encouraged to participate.

First-Year Orientation Sessions (two-day)

  • Logistics
    • On two-day orientation sessions for first-year students, the Resource Fair will take place from 10:00am – 12:00pm throughout the 3rd floor of the Tate Student Center. We encourage all participants to be set up by 9:45am as we routinely have early arrivals.
    • Each table will be limited to two staff members in order to provide adequate space for students and families to access the exhibitions. Groups who would like to send more than two staff members are welcome to purchase another (adjacent) table, space permitting.
    • If we receive more registrations than space allows for, priority will be given to the university-affiliated groups who are not otherwise included in other aspects of the UGA New Student Orientation program.
  • Layout
    • Each organization will be assigned a 6×3 table for the duration of the summer. As you can see in the diagram below, tables will be placed close together.
    • Please be mindful of your provided space and ensure that your display will not interfere with those on either side of your table. We will not be able to move your table location based on the size of your display.

Transfer Orientation Sessions (one-day)

  • Logistics
    • On one day orientation sessions for transfer students, the Resource Fair will take place from 8:00am – 9:00am on the 3rd floor of the Tate Student Center. We encourage all participants to be set up by 7:45am as we routinely have early arrivals.
These tables will be placed close together so please consider that when preparing the materials that you will use.
    • Please be mindful of your provided space and ensure that your display will not interfere with those on either side of your table. We will not be able to move your table location based on the size of your display.

For more information about this event, organizations can register here. If student organizations would like to speak with incoming transfer students, they are more than welcome to register for a table for the Resources Fairs here, if they would like to keep their same table assignment.
