New Student Orientation will be delivered in a hybrid model this upcoming summer. This experience will incorporate asynchronously delivered online modules coupled with an opportunity for incoming students to attend an optional in-person orientation session. This summer you will also be able to meet with an advisor to have a 1-to-1 virtual advisement appointment and be able to register for your classes following that meeting.
Registration for the optional in-person orientation sessions can be found via your UGA Status Login Page. Please note that orientation registration is first-come, first-serve and that once a session is full it will no longer appear as an option.
Students who want to attend in-person orientation will register for a session via their Status Login Page. Registration for the optional sessions will open for students in May.
Access to these modules will be provided to incoming transfer and summer start students on April 26th. First-Year students who are either starting in the fall or participating in Thrive will receive access to the modules on June 1st.
As you prepare to join us at orientation and on campus, NSO will have multiple opportunities for students and parents to engage with student leaders and campus partners. Updates regarding these opportunities will be made on our Online Engagement Opportunity page.
