New Student Orientation will be delivered in a hybrid model this upcoming spring. This experience will incorporate asynchronously delivered online UGA 101 modules, a virtual academic advising appointment, coupled with a required in-person orientation session. Access to the UGA 101 modules will begin on November 21st for transfer students and will be found on the student’s application status page. You will be able to meet with an academic advisor to have a 1-to-1 virtual advising appointment and be able to register for your classes following that meeting, if all other requirements have been fulfilled. The earlier you complete your UGA 101 modules, the earlier your academic advising appointment will be.
Registration for the in-person orientation sessions can be found via your UGA Status Login Page starting on November 2nd for transfer students. Please note that orientation registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and that once a session is full it will no longer appear as an option.
New Student Orientation is an experience that is designed to help you prepare our newest students for success in their first year at UGA. Before you arrive, get to know your Orientation Leaders (OLs), learn about orientation requirements, review important information, and prepare for your transition to the University of Georgia
