ORIENTATION LEADER APPLICATION FAQ
WE'RE HERE TO HELP
Below you will find some commonly asked questions regarding the application to become an Orientation Leader (OL). For any additional questions you may have, email Assistant Director of New Student Orientation, Jalynn Wynn (jalynn.wynn@uga.edu).
CAN I APPLY IF I AM A FRESHMAN/FIRST YEAR?
Yes, we would love for you to apply! We believe that first year students give a unique perspective as you just experienced what the students going through orientation are going through.
WHERE DO I APPLY?
You will use Question Pro to apply to be an Orientation Leader. You can find the link on our website or in our Instagram Bio.
On the application, what do I enter for gpa and credit hours if I am a freshman/first year?
Enter a 4.0 for your GPA because you haven’t completed an academic term at UGA, and for credit hours enter the number of hours you are taking this semester.
Are transfer students eligible to apply?
Yes, we encourage transfers to apply. Transfer students offer a valuable perspective because they have firsthand experience transitioning to UGA from another institution. As an Orientation Leader, you’ll have the opportunity to share what you’ve learned and help incoming transfer students successfully navigate their own transition to the UGA.
Am I eligible to apply if I graduate this summer?
