LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS

WELCOME TO uga

Please utilize the following resources to assist in planning your visit to Athens during your New Student Orientation experience.

STUDENTS

First-year and transfer students attending a two-day orientation session over the summer have the opportunity to stay in a residence hall during their orientation station.

Those students who requested housing during their orientation stay will receive additional information via email.

Housing is not provided for students attending a one-day session.

FAMILIES & SUPPORTERS

New Student Orientation does not provide overnight accommodations for family members or supporters. Orientation housing in the residence hall is reserved for students only, so families and supporters should plan to secure separate accommodations for their visit.

New Student Orientation partners with local hotels to assist families in securing lodging at a discounted rate. These are solely suggestions and not endorsements of these services. Families are encouraged to seek out lodging options that align with their needs. Please note there is limited availability.
